The third chief executive in as many months was appointed yesterday at Taxi app Hailo. Andrew Pinnington the former COO of the mobile retail communications group Carphone Warehouse was appointed to assist in closing the gap where rivals such as Lyft and Uber have stolen a march. According to City AM he spent twelve years in the retailing group and then went on to assist in new start up firms and supporting potential investment deals with private equity firms. His move follows the former chief executive, Tom Barr who found it difficult juggling his family life in the US with business life in London where Hailo is based.
