A lucky bidder will hopefully lay theirs hands on a Ferrari 375 Plus if they are successful in an auction being held in June. This work of art won at Le Mans and Silverstone in the ‘50s along with victories in the Pan Americana road race driven by Umberto Magioli and has an estimated price tag of £10 million. Only four were made, each with a 4.9 litre engine capable of 175mph – this example was bought in the 1990’s by Ferrari Importer Jacques Swatters, a friend of Enzo Ferrari and restored before his death three years ago, according to the Metro. Whilst there is no reserve, this is expected to reach and break records.
Similarly, a McLaren F1 GTR long tail has just sold for £3.2 million. These beautiful and extreme cars is one of only 10 built and now holds the British price record.
